The brand
Mediterranean flavour, grown under the Egyptian sun
SOLIVIA joins sol, the sun, with oliva, the olive: two things Egypt has in abundance. The range brings the everyday staples of the Mediterranean table to European shelves, harvested in season across the Nile Delta and Valley and packed close to the field.
SOLIVIA is a ProGenX brand. Based in New Cairo, ProGenX is a sourcing and export house with two decades of procurement expertise across Egypt, MENA, Africa and Europe. We qualify every production partner, run quality control at source and manage logistics end to end, including the cans and easy-open ends themselves.
Sun-grown, packed in season
Crops are processed at peak ripeness, close to the farms that grow them, for true colour, texture and flavour.
EU-ready from day one
Labels to Reg. (EU) 1169/2011, BPA-NI linings, certificates of analysis and full export documentation.
One partner, one container
Mix products and can formats from all four ranges in a single shipment, with fewer suppliers and simpler logistics.
Your brand or ours
Sell under SOLIVIA, or use the same production, sourcing and quality control for your private label.

Shelf life, storage & traceability
Best-before, set per product
Low-acid vegetables such as peas keep longer than high-acid tomatoes and olives, so the date is fixed per SKU. Your minimum remaining shelf life on arrival is agreed in the contract.
Storage guidance
Keep cartons in a cool, dry, dark warehouse away from heat sources and moisture, off bare concrete, and rotate stock first in, first out.
Lot traceability
Every can carries a lot code and best-before date, linking back to the packing run and its lab results.
Checks on receipt
Set aside any can that is bulging, leaking or heavily rusted and report it with the lot code so we can investigate quickly.

FAQ
Answers for importers and buyers
The questions we hear most from importers, distributors and private label buyers.
Still have a question?
Talk to Salama Mostafa directly, or send your product list for a quotation.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order, payment terms and lead time are confirmed in your quotation. Mixed products and can formats can be consolidated in one 20′ or 40′ container, so you do not need a full container of a single item.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Samples are available on request together with the specification sheets. Use the Order Samples button and tell us which products you want to test.
Can you produce under my own brand?
Yes. Private label OEM uses the same sourcing, production and quality control as SOLIVIA. We handle label artwork approval and printing, with up to four EU languages per label and your own or our EAN codes.
Which certifications do your production partners hold?
ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, BRCGS Food, IFS Food, HACCP and Halal. The certificates held by each product’s production site are shared with the quotation. Organic claims appear only on certified products.
Are the labels and cans compliant with EU rules?
Labels follow Reg. (EU) 1169/2011 on food information. Cans use BPA-NI internal lacquer in line with the EU ban on BPA in food-contact materials, and lots are tested for pesticide residues, heavy metals and tin.
Which documents come with each shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, EUR.1 or certificate of origin, the Egyptian health certificate, a certificate of analysis per lot and a specification sheet per SKU. A pre-shipment inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas is available on request.
Which Incoterms and ports do you offer?
FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP, loading from Alexandria, Damietta or Port Said. Share your destination port and we will quote accordingly.
How long does shipping take?
Sea transit from Alexandria to Rotterdam is typically 8 to 14 days on direct sailings and up to about 20 days with transshipment. Production lead time is confirmed in your quotation.
